Ad posting info - Please read all the info on this page, as it's all important.

 Classified ads will be posted within 24 hours, most days within a few hours. 

 Ads are $10 each (photo included), prepaid. 
Ads with more than one photo are $5 each extra photo.

 Still free: Dogs for Adoption, if posted by Rescues (or individuals, if dog's price is $100 or under, must be posted in ad) Dogs Wanted and Lost Dogs. 

We accept checks (address on bottom of page), Paypal, please make payment to sonia@capital.net  (if not a member we can bill you, e-mail us) Visa and Mastercard - E-mail with number, split in two messages ( for security). Include name and home zip code associated with card and expiration date. If you prefer, we can e-mail you with link to secure page to make credit card payment, instead. Also, you can call or fax your card number, 614 495 0019. Checks are also welcome. If you want to talk to us on the phone to give us your credit card number, please leave your phone number and best time to call. We need to add $5 per call for long distance and the time involved in returning calls.

Please make your ad 12 lines or less in length, not to include more than 3 dogs. Ads longer than 12 lines are $5 extra for every 10 (or less) additional lines and you can add an extra photo at no additional charge. Potential buyers like to see every dog's photo on the ad, because it saves them time. 

Please take photos of clean and groomed dogs, the difference shows! 5 and 6 week old puppies are very cute, but they are too young to be offered for sale - please send current photos of puppies at least 7 weeks old. We know how much puppies change in just a week or two,  it's fair to the potential buyers to let them see what the puppy looks like at the time of sale.

We will not advertise "litters". 

Please make sure you are sending the photo you really want posted before you send it, and include ALL information you need in the ad; changes incur in new posting fees. Your ad takes longer to post when you send 2 or 3 emails with additions or corrections for just one ad. It's worth taking a few more minutes to proof read the ad you are sending and make sure it's all there.

If you'd like to make changes on a current ad, like add or remove pictures, add or delete information or if you wish to re-post your ad after a month, we will re-post it at the top of the page again, so viewers realize there have been changes. We are forced to charge a new ad fee as there is the same amount of work involved as placing new ads. Please refer to the prices on top of the page.

All photos are posted 75 dpi and 215 pixels in height, some look larger than others because they are wider, but every photo gets edited to show the dog as large and clearly as possible, surroundings get removed so the page will download more quickly.

 You can add a super-sized photo to your ad!

We can include a large version of the picture in your ad for only $5 more.
It will open in a new page and it will show your dog's photo in full size, glorious detail.
We can also crop the photo in your ad and show the head expression only, for example.
This is a valuable selling aid to show your dog at its best!

We can make you a custom page with link from your dog or puppy's ad which can include additional photos or parent's photos, pedigree and extended description, for $20. This is an invaluable feature
for sellers who don't have or don't want a full website, as the info is posted only for the length of time your dog is offered for sale.

Our main concern is to help healthy dogs find good homes. We are interested in promoting 
responsible practices such as stock testing (OFA on hips, thyroid test, VWD, and eye cerf), breeding breed worthy stock (from recognized show lines), and selling with health guarantees and spay/neuter contracts. 

Ads which reflect these practices will be preferred.

                                                                    If posting an ad for:

                - Show/breeding dogs - please include names of parents/grandparents
                - Companion dogs - Spay/neuter and/or limited registration requirements

                Guarantees offered, on all dogs.

Sorry, ads which sell merchandise or services are not being accepted at the moment. Other items, like used dog equipment: crates, grooming tables, used dog books or magazines can be posted  for $5 per ad.

We do scanning and photo work (trimming,  brightness, contrast correction, etc) for your picture to display the best possible. If you can work with your photo, please send it in JPEG format, the size we use for posting is 2.6"-height, 72 resolution. We want to show the best quality of images possible; scans of two or more images into one photo will not be accepted any longer as it's impossible to adjust quality accurately.

We do not accept ads from backyard breeders, puppy mills or wholesalers.

All advertisers posting dogs for sale must agree to guarantee health on the animal being sold for a minimum of 72 hours, if being sold across state lines, as required by federal law.
