| I am in search of a sheltie for performance/pet, prefer a female. partial to blues or tris, young,or young adult. Smaller size OK. A retired champion would be perfect. Give the dog a title on both ends. I am wanting to work obedience, agility, rallye etc. all the performance aspects. I need to get off my fat rear and working a sheltie would do that. We lost our sheltie in 2015. He is still greatly missed.
Sheltie must be other dog, car and younger child friendly. As I also have a Miniature dachshund and a cat. Also my grandsons do come to visit. All my kids are grown. Our house is me, my wife and my youngest son.
We are renting a town house and do not have a fenced yard. if not already, the animal will be altered as I have no desire to breed. Needs to be crate trained and house broke. Being I want to show in performance events It needs to be registered or registerable. We don't have a lot to spend so please on dogs over $500. maybe something can be worked out. While that alone may keep us out of the dream of owning a sheltie again.but I have to try. With in reasonable drive from SE Wyoming as we want to meet the breeder/owner face to face. Also the dog at a familiar place. possibly bring our doxie to see how well they are together.
