| Chateau Shetland Sheepdogs is a fledgling hobby kennel, located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, just north of San Antonio and Southwest of Austin. We are 100% committed to breeding true Shetland Sheepdog type while not compromising on the mental and physical soundness any and every canine should possess. We strive to ensure that all shelties bearing the Chateau name conform to the AKC standard, make fantastic pets, are pleasing to the eye, have a great temperament, and are physically capable of excelling in any performance sport. We are proud to be members of the Alamo Area Shetland Sheepdog Club, the Comal County Kennel Club, and the Owner Handler's Association of Southern Texas. Our litters are all whelped and raised at home, are vet-checked and sold current on all inoculations, and come with a genetic health replacement guarantee. All our puppies undergo a rigorous socialization regimen. Having a shy or timid puppy is not an option for us. We do everything we can to ensure our puppies grow up to be well-adjusted dogs that can take on any new situations without a problem. |
