The Tri-State Shetland Sheepdog Club was founded in Connecticut in 1945, which makes our club the second-oldest sheltie club in the United States. We hold two back-to-back specialty shows each spring, and offer various seminars and educational programs for our members and the fancy annually. We hold our annual sanctioned AKC match and picnic in late summer...always a fun event!
Tri-State also attends the AKC Meet The Breeds event at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City each year.
Our membership consists of breeders, judges, active conformation and performance exhibitors, and sheltie enthusiasts. We welcome new members! Please contact us if you'd like more information about our club or what new events/programs we have in the works.
