1. Disinfect Detector's probe

2. Clean vulva

3. Place dog on table
                           

 5. Level off

 6. Make sure to insert gently to approximately half the length of the probe (depending on breed) until just before the resistance is felt at the neck of the cervix.
 

7. Carefully make 2-3 half-turns so the electrodes come into full contact with vaginal mucus
 

8. Press ON/OFF switch and hold for 2 seconds until readout on the LCD stabilizes
 

9.Remove the probe gently

10. Disinfect before putting away
